Sometimes & Always

Sometimes: I don't want to workout and I stop in the middle (after 25 minutes in stead of 40-50!)
Always: I still feel great that I even started working out hah!

Sometimes: I do too much for people and then afterwards need a week of relaxation. Read: watching Youtube and eating doritos and cheesedip all day long.
Always: I don't care! I don't take enough me-time so it's totally a-ok to just splurge on it once in a while...

Sometimes: I think of silly things I want, such as an expensive Erin Condren Life Planner that costs 50 dollars and an additional 32 dollars to get it to me. (How much does it cost to order it in the US?)
Always: I can get it out of my head by thinking of other things we need, BUT....

NOT THIS TIME!!!
I just ordered my very own personal, very expensive, very beautiful and oh-so-amazing Life Planner!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOW! (You get the idea, right?)

I chose this one with a different color.
I'll show you when it gets here.

How did I convince the hubs? Well, he actually convinced me! (by not giving me a gift for our one year anniversary 'cause hey, nobody told him 10000000 times already that gifts are my main love language, right?)
So he almost begged me to buy this beauty as compensation :)
Let me clarify that he did bring me breakfast in bed - he even got up very early so I wouldn't have to wait on it! And he did take me out for dinner AND bought me an ice cream afterwards! (hence the work out)

Maybe I'll just get the planner every year for myself as an anniversary gift, so Jeff doesn't feel bad about thinking I didn't want anything, hah!
Love you baby :) Thanks for the amaaaazing gift!

Fear and excitement - less than 2 months left!

There are less than two months left untill we will move in with Jeff's parents. We'll stay there in August and September. I'm getting a bit nervous about it all, really... I love Jeff's parents, but what if we'll all drive each other crazy? Haha :)
Or what if the kids keep running into "our rooms"? They used to live there and still sleep there about once a week. So they'll probably see it as "their rooms". (They won't be sleeping there when we live there, obviously)
We'll need to make some good rules for them!

part of the rooms we'll be staying in!

I'm also getting pretty scared about the move to our own home! I mean... We'll really be on our own then. No friends that live next to us or in our street. No people stopping by 'cause they were in the neighbourhood. No people standing at our door when church is over.
It's going to be so different!

Jeff and I both love peace and quiet, we don't mind living a bit out of town. But we also love people! We want to invite them over for dinner or just to watch a movie or play a game, but will they want to make the ride to us? Everyone's so used to us living in the centre of Ghent...

But at the same time, I'm so convinced that God has a plan for us there! I can't wait to see what we'll make out of this beautiful old house! I can't wait to see how we will be a light to the people of our new town! I can't wait to see our futur kids running around in our garden! I'm so excited :)

La Vie en Rose

Finally, the bridal shower is over! I'm SO tired, I think I'll never ever again plan an event in only 1,5 week haha!
Decoration!

Our lovely bride in pink :)

A little game - and one of the only pictures of me!
I guess I'm always too busy :)

Some of the sweet guests and a view of the decoration

I'll just leave you guys with these pictures to enjoy and I'll be off baking for 2 days!
I'm making the wedding cake for this sweet bride and she's getting married on tuesday! Lots of work to do... I'll be SO so SO so happy when it's wednesday :)

Bunnies!

It's almost my birthday (30 Jan) so I'm thinking about what Jeff can give me. The man is clueless when it comes to gifts so he really needs some help!

I'm thinking about maybe getting a bunny... I miss having a pet (my poor Tosca can't stay with us because we lack a garden!) so I asked around what a good pet would be.
A friend of mine has a bunny and she really loves it!

I'd like one like this:

Jeff's a bit afraid that it'll bite through the cables that are all over our place thanks to our wonderful beamer that we use as our own movie theatre, but I've heard you can learn them what they can and can't do!
And I'll be only going to school twice a week in the upcoming semester!

What do you think of keeping a bunny in your house?
Any experience?
What should I think of before buying one??

Home Organization?!

Hi sweeties,

I'm in the middle of creating a "home planner"! Trying to get some order in this chaotic new life of mine!
At this moment, I've only made a section for "home budget", "Meal Planning" and "Gifts"! I'm still thinking about some more sections such as long term goals, Bible verses, etc... Do any of you girls have and/or use a home planner, and if so, which sections do you recommend?

I saw the idea at Erin @ BlueEyedBride!
I'm a real planner myself, I have a little To Do Book that I'm going to use untill it's finished and then I'll start a section with Daily To Do's :)

Love,
Evelien
