I finally ordered my last cloth diapers! I have 20 pocket diapers, which should be enough to last us for 2-3 days in between washings...
The highest row are 10 brand-less china cheapies that I bought for a whopping 30 dollars, including shipping. We'll have to see how good they are but for that price you can"t really go wrong.
The middle row are 3 alvababy diapers. They are about 6 or 7 dollars a piece and are the ones with double gussets (to help prevent leaking) and colored snaps (Designed for babysitters, grandparents, ... so they know which size your baby is on).
The lowest row are my favourites - in case you couldn't guess that already!
I ordered 6 alvababy diapers in girly prints and got the green one with white flowers for free! Score :-)
The 2nd-4th on this row are minky diapers, which means they have a really soft outside.
I also ordered 2 diaper pail liners and 2 wet bags for our diaper bag.
Now, a little disclaimer: we're not starting with cloth diapering until our baby is 1.5-2 months old. Even though these diapers are one-sized, I've heard most diapers don't fit a teeny tiny newborn! So we're not even going to bother trying them on... And in addition to that, it's just easier to adjust to life with a baby without the extra washing and trial and error that comes with cloth diapering.
We'll keep you updated on our cloth diapering adventures in a couple of months :-)
Now I'm off to prep them so they're ready to go when we need them!!

Welke wetbags heb je gekocht? Ik weet niet goed wat doen.
Heb ook gehoord dat je beter gewone luiertjes gebruikt zolang het naveltje nog niet genezen is, maar hoe lang dat duurt, weet ik niet. :) Als 't een grote baby is, kan 't zijn dat de luiers al van in 't begin passen he.
Oh they are the cutest little nappies I have ever seen! Baby girl will look very cute in these :)
LOVE love love all of them! So cute and girly! I enjoyed for the most part using some cloth diapers with our little guy once he was more than about 2 months old. :) Hope it goes well for you! By the way, I have kept up with your posts although I haven't commented anywhere lately, and I think you look so happy and are cute pregnant! lol ;-) Congrats, again! Wij gebruikten wegwerp tot naveltje af was gevallen omdat je die makkelijker kan omplooien zodat de navel niet mee in de pamper zit. En de navel dus droog blijft. Bij Eden was het naveltje precies 1 week later afgevallen en dan ook gewoon gestart met de wasbare luiertjes. Hij woog dan 4,5 kg en 55 cm groot. We hebben wel bamboozle stretch luiertjes, de small dus dat scheelt wel. Zo'n luiertjes als hier op de foto doen we hem ook nog niet aan.
Momenteel wassen we elke nacht, Adam luiert ook nog hé. Misschien dat we wel eens gaan overslaan als ook Eden van die andere luiertjes aandoet. En als Adam overdag gaat zindelijk zijn (als hij broer en zus volgt nog 4 maandjes te gaan maar ik denk dat hij er nog wat maandjes gaat bijdoen, nouja het kan rap gaan ook hé) gaan we terug over op om de nacht wassen. Wij wassen wel met regenwater dus lekker goedkoop natuurlijk.
