Friday, July 8th - Getting married in Hasselt - I now pronounce you husband and wife!
I knew the legal wedding doesn't take long, but it really just took less than 10 minutes... I was a little surprised with that, but hey, more time to party, right?!
The arrival at the city hall
At the end of the ceremony, the mayor handed us the pen that we used to sign the papers, which I thought was really special :)
I remember feeling very relieved everything went well! So we went home to partyyyyy :)
Coming up: the partyyyyyyyy ;)

The arrival at the city hall
Everyone entered and took a seat, after which the mayor started the ceremony
My "maid of honor", my daddy and my mom, all waiting patiently ;)
The mayor read the rights and duties in a marriage, then we had to sign
And of course our witnesses, as we call the maid/man of honor, had to sign too
At the end of the ceremony, the mayor handed us the pen that we used to sign the papers, which I thought was really special :)
After that, everyone came to congratulate us and kept saying "madammeke" to me, which means something like little mrs. :) Really funny 'cause at that moment I didn't really grasp the fact that I was really a married woman!!
Here we are re-reading the documents...

Oh, and by the way, I noticed in your "about me" that you still call yourself girlfriend to your guy, J! You need to change that girl! You're a wifey now! Joining our club! heehee ;-)
