Lisa is one of those friends. You know, the ones you click with and the ones that make you feel comfortable when you're around them. I don't even remember how we met! Was it in church? Or through friends? I don't remember, but somehow we became friends. We had bible studies together and walks in Ghent, and even a craft day! We talked about marriage, children, friends, homes...
We knew it wasn't going to be for a long time, 'cause Lisa and her husband moved from the US to Belgium for work. We knew it was only going to be for 2 years.
And this past year they've spent a lot of time visiting Europe (who can blame them, right? ;)).
But now the time has come. Last Saturday we said our goodbyes and yesterday Lisa took an airplane "home"!
Dear friend, you will be missed! Thank you for those precious years.
