My dear, dear friends,
I'm so sorry for leaving you all alone for a month but I do have a very good reason!
We got our keys!! (yes about 3 weeks ago haha!)
We've been working so hard because we just want to move in... Like reaaallyyyy bad. I love my in laws so much, but I love my privacy even better. I want to be able to cook what and when I want, I want to just sit on the couch with my husband to watch a movie and I just like being alone :)
So far we've knocked down some walls,
I started on sowing some grass (they say it's best to do it in October so it has time to get stronger before the freezing starts...),
I planted some tulips,
we relocated the toilet -which used to be in the middle of our living room... We like it better in the bathroom for some odd reason!-,
ordered new windows
and Jeff fixed our chimney.
My dad has ordered everything to install our heating and we hope to have it all up and running in a week and a half! Go daddy! Go Jeffy! ;)
I'll try to keep you updated but can't promise that I'll be a regular blogger until we move in!
We plan to move after the windows are done, which should be at the end of November.

HOORAY! So glad you guys have the keys and are working on renovating! I know it will be just perfect when you finish up! Especially now that the toilet is out of the living room... ;)
Getting the keys for a new house is such an exciting feeling! So happy for you guys! Have fun with the renovations and decorating :-)

Yay for having your own place!! Though, I must admit, I don't understand why you wouldn't want to keep the toilet in the middle of the living room...just think of the convenience!! ;)
