Im a quitter...

I guess I'll have to tell you guys now that we both quit the diet.
I felt dizzy, had extreme headaches and felt nauseous all the time. It just wasn't really smart to keep on going! I did lose a whole kilo? 2.2 pounds in just 1,5 days? Yes, not so healthy :)

But we're still going to keep watching our diet. Thanks to my amazing readers I've got some knew (healthier) ideas such as no snacks and no eating after dinner :)
I haven't eaten any chocolates so far, so that's good, right?! (We did go for a pizza the night we gave up, mmmm!). We're going to the movies Saturday IF we can keep on eating healthy! jeeej! A little reward can be such a great help!

Does anyone have some good and healthy recipes for me to try out? I need to find some new ways to cook veggies 'cause I don't really like them...

I think moderation is the key to dieting. Just limiting your intake can help you out a lot! Good luck girly!

I know everyone as the new big diet thing, or whatever, but my hubby and I each drink a Shakeology Shake every morning. Beachbody claims it is the healthiest meal of the day. Their claim is that if you replace one meal a day with the shake, and incorporate regular work-outs, your system is a lot healthier, works more efficiently and you lose weight. My hubby and I have them for breakfast because otherwise we wouldn't really eat breakfast. My mom drinks one in the afternoon, when she usually snacks. It holds her over til dinner. I think it comes out to like $3.00/shake.
And here is a link to the info and where you can buy them: https://extranet.securefreedom.com/MillionDollarBody/csShopping/ShoppingCart.asp?Cat=Nutrition%20and%20Supplements|Shakeology

Yes, Mrs. Miller, we're kinda doing the same now! We just switched from the "heavy program" to the "light" one, which is just to replace one meal with a shake :)
Thanks for supporting me y'all! I was affraid you would laugh with me haha!

If I may add my 2 cents: don't think of it as a diet! Diets are temporary but lifestyle changes are forever. You will get better results if you change the way you think about food. Food= nourishment & fuel. Only put good stuff in your body, not just for weight control but do it for your overall health. I would recommend eating a big breakfast in the morning! A big lunch and a light dinner. And eat fruit for snacks. Avoid sugar! Avoid processed foods, and eat less bread/gluten. Veggies? Try sauteing kale and onion in a litte olive oil. Then add a little salt. Or just get a good dressing and eat more salad (seasame oil and salt is a good salad dressing) Basically, I eat whatever I want but everything I eat is real food. So I try to avoid chemicals and sugar. I eat a lot of meat, a lot of healthy fats (butter, avocado, oils etc.), a lot of veggies cooked and raw, grains in moderation. Gluten makes me sick so I avoid that, but even if you are not allergic to gluten you should limit it. In fact, I know some people who couldn't loose weight until they cut back on bread and other grains! Oh and a good way to get those raw veggies in: green smoothies! Start with enough fruit to make the smoothie taste good to you, but gradually add less fruit and more veggies. You will get use to the taste and you will feel great! And obviously, get some exercise, but I am a firm believer that weight is more about what you eat- unless you sit in a chair the entire day. Good luck with everything!!!
